Methodology
I am a college graduate, who has been a Texas state certified instructor since 2007. I am certified to teach English Language Arts & Reading for grades 4-12 and special needs students for grades EC-12.
My tutorial methods are specifically designed around the individual needs of my students. Each lesson mirrors or reemphasizes a current lesson from school and reflects each student's individual learning style.
Background
I have been providing tutorials for students after school since 2007. I have tutored as many as 30 students during a tutorial, but I prefer to keep tutorial sessions as small as possible.
My passing percentage is 90% with the majority of my students graduating and moving on and prepared for college.
During the TAKS years, my passing percentage average 88% with 100% passing in the 2011-2012 school year and with STAAR, my scores have improved each year by an average of 25%.
