Hi! My name is Akinlua Olorunfisayomi Peace, and I’m passionate about helping students feel more confident, successful, and enjoy math. As a math tutor, my teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and active engagement. I begin each lesson by assessing the student’s current understanding and identifying specific problem areas. I then break down complex concepts into simpler steps, using real-life examples and visual aids when possible to enhance understanding. I encourage students to think critically and ask questions, fostering a supportive environment where they feel confident to learn from mistakes. I tailor my teaching style to the student's individual needs and learning pace, using analogies, diagrams, or hands-on examples depending on what works best for them. A typical session lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour, allowing enough time to cover key topics while keeping the student focused and engaged. I have a strong foundation in math and have successfully helped classmates and younger students understand and improve their math skills. My lessons are ideal for primary school and secondary school students. I aim to help students build confidence, improve grades, and develop a more positive relationship with math.
