About Fatima

Hello! My name is Fatima. I am an enthusiastic and passionate tutor. I teach A-Level Psychology, Sociology, and Religious Studies. I have recently completed these subjects myself and I understand how challenging it can be for students and how important it is to have someone who can explain difficult topics in a clear way.

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual learning style. You may be aiming to improve your confidence in understanding difficult topics, preparing for exams or you may want to feel more comfortable in understanding your subject.

We will work together at a pace which suits you and I will always be happy to help you understand whatever you may find more challenging. I will be breaking down complex ideas into simple explanations, practice exam-style questions and different revision techniques which will help you build your knowledge and understanding further.

I am a patient, encouraging, and understanding individual who will create a positive learning environment. I would want students to feel comfortable to ask any questions and when they make mistakes. My aim is to help every student reach their full potential and make their learning as stress-free and engaging as possible.

I have experience in working with high school students who are completing their GCSEs and who are wanting to complete A-Levels.

If you're looking for a supportive tutor who understands the demands of A-Levels and is passionate about helping students succeed and feel confident, I would love to work with you!

About the lesson

My lessons will include active recall, a view of the specification each lesson, short quizzes, targeting difficult topics, exam questions (length will vary depending on topic/difficulty) and a recap of the topic learnt in the lesson at the end of the lesson to ensure understanding.

We will go over key texts, quotes, topics and exam questions together.

Each lesson will be for 1 hour. If a student is still confused at the end of the lesson, they are always welcome to ask for help or answers to any questions.

Homework will also be set to help with understanding and to test knowledge on topics.

Ages 11-16 for GCSE Religious Studies and English Literature. (AQA).

Ages 16-18 for A-Level Psychology, Sociology (AQA) and Religious Studies (OCR).
