About Dr Archan

I have been deeply engaged with Physics through rigorous academic training and sustained research, beginning with my doctoral work and continuing through multiple postdoctoral assignments. Currently, I am serving as an Assistant Professor at a reputed university in Bangalore.

My academic association with premier institutions such as IIT Kanpur, the University of Birmingham, NIMHANS, Bangalore, and IISc, Bangalore has shaped not only my subject mastery but also my intellectual discipline and problem-solving resilience. These experiences have instilled the competitive survival instincts that are crucial for excelling in high-stakes examinations such as IIT-JEE, NEET, NET, and other national-level tests.

At the age of 35, I have published NINE research papers in reputed peer-reviewed journals. I am a recipient of two prestigious Government of India awards: the SERB-NPDF Fellowship (DST, Govt. of India) and the DBT-Research Associate Fellowship (DBT, Govt. of India). Earlier, I was awarded the MHRD Fellowship for securing a state rank in the West Bengal Secondary Examination.

Beyond academics, I have consistently demonstrated excellence in communication, having been the inter-college topper in Debate and Recitation competitions during my undergraduate years—an ability that strongly complements my teaching and mentoring approach.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is structured, inclusive, and student-focused. It involves:

Explaining theoretical concepts in minute detail, ensuring strong conceptual foundations rather than rote learning.

Carefully prepared slides for online classes, designed to maintain clarity, structure, and continuity in learning.

Emphasis on live problem-solving, enabling students to learn how to think, analyze, and apply concepts in real time.

Regular doubt-clearing sessions, where students are encouraged to ask questions without hesitation.

Extreme patience with students who require more time to grasp concepts or problem-solving techniques, recognizing that learning curves differ.

Active encouragement of student curiosity, as questions and discussions are essential to deep understanding.

I strongly believe in valuing each student and their individual learning needs. My teaching style is flexible and adaptive, allowing me to modify explanations and strategies based on student feedback and progress.
