About Assia Shemsy
I’m a motivated and approachable student currently studying *A-Level Biology, Chemistry and Maths, with the goal of pursuing Medicine in the future. Alongside my studies, I work as a qualified lifeguard, which has strengthened my responsibility, communication and ability to stay calm under pressure. I’m hardworking and genuinely enjoy helping others, and I would bring this same patience, enthusiasm and dedication to tutoring.

I have recently completed my own GCSEs and achieved 9s in Maths, Biology and Physics, an 8 in Chemistry, English Literature, French and History, and a 7 in Spanish. This means I understand the current GCSE courses, exam techniques, the way exam boards work and the challenges students face firsthand. I’m patient, approachable and able to explain difficult topics clearly, while adapting my teaching to each student’s needs. I want to help students not only improve their grades, but also become more confident in their abilities. I offer a free 15 minute session to meet the student and see if they enjoy my teaching style and if they would like me as their tutor.
