About Vanessa

I’m a music student completing my bachelor degree and have been playing the violin for more than ten years. I have taught violinists from a range of ages and abilities, from 5 year-old to 56 year-old, beginner to advanced, in Australia and overseas. I’m also a singer-songwriter looking to release some singles and albums in the near future.

About the lesson

I believe music should be played from the soul, and that’s why I teach through a practical and creative approach to make you feel like one with your violin, while developing your techniques to help you play with confidence and emotions! My teaching method:
- Differentiated music curriculum to meet the needs of individual students. - - Referenced teacher-developed curriculum and performance arrangements to teach private and semi-private violin lessons.
- Instructed students on theory and techniques to develop performing, recording and composing musicians.
-Established and maintained standards of student behavior to promote orderly and productive practice, group rehearsals and violin performances. -Implemented instructional plans and organized class to balance instruction, demonstration and reflections.
-Reflected critically on teaching practices to implement improvement strategies.
