About Maylis

I'm a 23-year-old French student currently pursuing my last semester of my Master's degree at ESCP Business School in London. To get into that school, I spent two years in intensive preparatory classes in Pierre-de-Fermat, Toulouse. Last semester, I had the incredible opportunity to study at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, which really helped me take my English skills to the next level. During my Master's, I took a gap year to gain some real-world experience and I completed two internships in finance, giving me valuable insights into the industry. When I'm not buried in books or crunching numbers, you'll find me running through the city streets or hitting the slopes for some skiing. I'm also a big believer in work-life balance and love spending time with my friends. In France, I have my BAFA (certificate of fitness for the functions of animator) as I've always found it easy to connect with kids. Whether I'm in a classroom, boardroom, or playground, I'm always eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges!

About the lesson

As a native French speaker enrolled in a Master of a top tier business school, I bring a unique blend of academic rigour and practical language expertise to my lessons. My teaching approach is tailored to each student's needs, whether you're starting from scratch or aiming to perfect your fluency. I usually teach one-hour lessons but I provide flexible scheduling options to accommodate busy professionals and students alike. With my strong educational background and passion for the French language and culture, I am committed to creating engaging, effective learning experiences that will help you achieve your language goals. I have been giving French lessons for 4 years now and I have never encountered any major difficulties in doing so. It's been a pleasure to teach to so many different people and to see that they keep calling me back for new sessions.
