About Laura

I am a professional Singing tutor with 14 years of experience teaching School students, College students, and Working Professionals. My passion for music and teaching has allowed me to help many students improve their vocal skills, build confidence, and develop a strong appreciation for music. I believe that every student has the ability to grow and succeed when provided with the right guidance and encouragement.

My teaching approach is based on personalized learning. I take time to understand each student's goals, strengths, and areas for improvement before designing a customized lesson plan. This ensures that lessons are engaging, effective, and suited to the learner's pace and needs. Whether students are beginners or experienced singers, I provide support that helps them achieve steady progress.

My lessons focus on vocal warm-ups, breathing techniques, pitch correction, rhythm development, tone quality, voice projection, diction, and stage performance. Through practical exercises, song-based learning, and performance activities, students gain both technical knowledge and practical experience. Regular feedback helps them stay motivated and continue improving.

In addition to Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Coaching, Song Interpretation, Performance Skills, and Music Appreciation. These related subjects help students develop a complete understanding of music and become more confident performers. I also emphasize vocal health and effective practice habits.

My goal is to create a supportive and inspiring environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves. I am committed to helping learners reach their full potential and develop a lifelong love for music.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology for Singing is based on flexibility, creativity, understanding, and effective time management. I believe that structured learning helps students build both strong vocal skills and lasting confidence in their voice. My goal is to guide each student step by step in a clear and supportive way.

I begin by understanding each student’s goals, musical interests, and current singing level. This helps me design a personalized learning plan that focuses on steady improvement and long-term growth. Every student is guided according to their pace and comfort level.

Creativity is an important part of my teaching approach. I use vocal exercises, song practice, listening activities, and performance-based learning to make lessons engaging and enjoyable. Students are encouraged to explore different styles and discover their natural voice.

My lessons focus on breath control, pitch accuracy, rhythm, diction, vocal tone, expression, vocal range, and stage presence. These skills are taught through practical exercises so students can apply them directly while singing.

Understanding and patience help create a calm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable learning without fear of mistakes.

Time management ensures that each lesson is well-structured and productive. Sessions include warm-ups, technical training, song practice, and feedback.

Besides Singing, I can also teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Singing, Vocal Health, and Performance Skills. My aim is to help students become confident, expressive, and skilled singers.
