About Pushpender
Hi, I am Dr Pushpender Sharma, currently a visiting researcher at the University of Southampton. I am a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) researcher with a background in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering. I have 5 years of research experience at the University of Southampton in Aerodynamics, CFD, scientific computing, and data analysis, using various programming languages. I hold a master's and a PhD from the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Madras and IIT Kanpur, respectively, which are among the premier technology institutes in India. I have published scientific papers in leading journals in Aerospace Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, and Computing. This helps me bring the research-informed teaching to my prospective students. I am very patient and ready to explain complex concepts from the ground up, building a strong foundation of fundamental concepts.

I can teach Maths and Physics at GCSE and A-level, engineering subjects related to mechanical and aerospace engineering (including Aerodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat and Mass Transfer), and computing subjects such as Computational Fluid Dynamics, Numerical Methods, and Scientific Computing. I have a deep understanding of these subjects, from fundamentals to complex applications. I also have teaching experience, having tutored these subjects at the undergraduate level at UoS and IITs. I would build any topic from fundamental concepts and first principles, then move on to tackle complex, challenging problems.
