About Yiru
I’m a computational linguist, experienced math tutor, and proud mom with 9 years of teaching experience from Taiwan to the U.S. I currently volunteer at David Cox Elementary through HMT, and I’ve been exploring math playfully with my own son since he was 4—he’s now in 2nd grade doing 7th grade math! Walking this journey with him opened my eyes to how many more kids I could help—and that’s why I’m here.
