About Roger
I am a retired State employee as an Information Systems Analyst who wore multiple hats. While working for the Dept. Of State Hospital. Which I helped migrate their network from Novell to MS-Server 2003, 2007, 2008.
Previously DSH migrated to California Corrections Health Care Services / Salinas Valley. I played a role in User’s Support, Network Admin Engineer, and liaison to Head Quarter as a Manager Representative. I am familiar with Server 2003 and 2008, and 2012, Credent server, Altiris, Citrix, WebSense, MS-Configuration Manager Console, GroupWise (e-mail), Tumbleweed mail gate, Shared file server and I-phone configuration access. I supported more than 400 users and networked 7 buildings until company became Enterprise Network. I helped on data migration from Dept. of State Hospital to Dept. of California Correctional Healthcare Services. Helped upgrade user’s email from Novell GroupWise to Microsoft 2013 to Office 365. Implemented from Novell Network to Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012. Helped with XP to Windows 7, now Windows 10 migration.

I taught new employee orientation teaching Basic Computer skill and Security. The "Do's and Don't" while utilizing computers at work. Created a Microsoft Power Point presentations that students will easily understand and absorb the information. Created handouts for students so the can take it home for notes and guidance.
