About Nathan
Three words I'd use to describe myself are patient, introverted, and thoughtful. My tutoring style is very listening-focused, and I take time to learn how my students are already thinking before I show them anything new. I'm especially patient with students who are soft-spoken or can't easily describe what they're struggling with. I believe that communication and asking questions is one of the most helpful skills I can teach, beyond any particular math skills.

I'm a passionate K-12 math educator with 5 years of tutoring experience and B.S. in Data Science. I love showing students the beauty in math while helping them improve grades and reducing school-related stress.
I've tutored students of all grade levels since high school, and professionally for 2 years. Students who work with me typically see quick grade improvements and often gain a deeper appreciation for math.
