About Uche
Hi, I’m Uche. I tutor GCSE Maths, and my main goal is to make sure you actually understand the logic behind the numbers instead of just memorizing a bunch of formulas for exam day.
I’ve mastered advanced mathematics and mechanics through intense, independent study, so I’ve been exactly where you are. I know where the textbooks get confusing, where students usually trip up, and precisely how exam boards phrase their questions. I don’t just teach you the math—I teach you how to beat the mark scheme.
You can expect me to be reliable, highly organized, and completely focused on your progress. Whether you're currently overwhelmed and just want to secure a strong pass, or you're aiming to push your grade up to an 8 or 9 by mastering advanced algebra, our lessons will be practical, zero-stress, and built around getting you results.
Let's get to work and smash these exams.

My Approach & Teaching Method
I focus on logic and understanding rather than just memorizing formulas. I use a simple three-step method:
I explain the core concept clearly.
We solve a few problems together to fix any mistakes.
You try it independently to build confidence.
I also use real GCSE past paper questions from day one so you get used to exactly how the exam boards phrase things and where the marks are awarded.
Lesson Length
Lessons are 60 minutes long. This gives us enough time to review the last topic, learn something new, and practice exam questions without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
My Qualifications
I specialize in advanced mathematics and physics logic. Because I have recently mastered these exact academic paths through independent, self-directed study, I know exactly where students usually get stuck and how to explain tricky topics in a straightforward way that classrooms often miss.
Target Students
Level: GCSE Mathematics (Edexcel, AQA, and OCR — Higher and Foundation tiers).
Age: 13–16 (Years 9–11).
Who it's for: Perfect for students who want to build up their basic confidence to secure a strong pass, or top students trying to push their grades up to an 8 or 9 by mastering advanced algebra, vectors, and functions.
