I teach continuing education at LSUS. IT professional with year's experience configuring and supporting Intel Microsoft servers and computers. Background supporting Windows and Office up to and including 10 and 365. Worked in Corporate, Military and Government organizations delivering hardware and software solutions. Provide technical assistance to computer users. Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, via telephone or electronically. May provide help concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, network issues, and operating systems. Experience working from the shop floor to the C suite.

About the lesson

The course is designed as an introductory course, for you to use as a starting point to explore some of the ideas and tools further. It is relevant to secondary teachers from all subjects and all levels of experience. A basic amount of knowledge on operating computers and other technology devices is expected but you don't need prior knowledge of computing. The course lasts for six weeks and requires around 2 hours of work per week. The course has been designed by teachers for teachers and will feature interviews, presentations, and activities from teachers, professors, students and computing professionals.
