About Tessa
My interest in programming began with curiosity about how digital systems operate behind the scenes. This led me to earn a B.Tech in Information Systems, where I developed strong foundations in coding, logic, and system design. Over 10 years of teaching, I have supported learners with varying experience levels through clear and encouraging instruction. I believe programming should be taught in a calm and supportive way. I adjust explanations to each learner’s pace, using diagrams, examples, and step-by-step breakdowns. I encourage experimentation and help students learn from mistakes without frustration. Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with programming through continuous learning and hands-on exploration. Teaching programming is rewarding because I see learners gain confidence over time. Supporting that growth is the most meaningful part of my work.

Programming becomes easier when learners are allowed to progress steadily and understand the logic behind every step. My lessons focus on helping students feel comfortable with programming fundamentals, explaining how ideas turn into structured instructions that computers follow. I emphasize clarity, repetition, and reasoning so learners can build confidence naturally. Lessons encourage exploration and allow students to learn without fear of making mistakes.
Instruction is tailored to experience level. Beginners focus on basic logic, variables, loops, and conditions using simple examples. Intermediate learners develop organized coding habits, functions, debugging skills, and structured program flow. Advanced learners explore algorithms, object-oriented thinking, and small project development. Practice tasks are designed to be manageable and confidence-building.
Programming lessons also help students develop patience and problem-solving resilience. As learners see their code function correctly, they gain confidence in their logical abilities. Many students enjoy the sense of achievement that comes from building something independently. My goal is to help learners feel capable, curious, and confident when working with technology.
