About Maren
My journey into programming started with curiosity about how software and digital platforms function behind the scenes. Over eight years, I have explored different programming languages and problem-solving techniques, gradually building both technical expertise and teaching confidence. I create a supportive environment where mistakes are welcomed as part of growth. I take pride in explaining difficult topics in simple ways and encouraging curiosity. Every small success my students achieve motivates me to continue improving as an educator. Outside of teaching, I work on coding projects and study new trends in technology. Programming, to me, is not only a skill—it is a language of the modern world. Helping students gain fluency in this language is one of the most rewarding parts of my career.

Computer programming is a powerful tool that teaches students how to think logically, solve problems, and express creativity through technology. In my lessons, coding is introduced as an accessible and engaging skill, not an intimidating one. I focus on helping students understand the purpose behind each command, ensuring that they learn the logic behind the code rather than memorising patterns. This builds confidence and independence in their learning journey. Beginners are introduced to fundamental concepts such as variables, loops, conditions, and simple programme design. Intermediate students learn functions, debugging, and basic application or game development. Advanced learners explore data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and more complex systems. Lessons are hands-on and project-based to strengthen understanding through real application. As students improve, they begin to see technology not just as entertainment, but as a creative and powerful educational tool. They gain problem-solving skills, resilience, and confidence. My goal is to help every student feel capable of shaping technology rather than simply using it.
