About Elliana
My journey into programming began with curiosity about how digital systems solve complex problems using logical instructions. This curiosity led me to complete a B.Sc in Information Technology, where I gained strong foundations in software development and computational thinking. Over 10 years of teaching, I have helped students grow from beginners into confident problem-solvers who understand both the logic and purpose behind their code.
I believe strong programming instruction requires adaptability and encouragement. I take time to understand each student’s learning style and adjust explanations using step-by-step breakdowns, visual aids, and real-life examples. I emphasize understanding over memorization to ensure long-term skill development.
Outside teaching, I stay connected to programming through continuous learning, practical experimentation, and exploring emerging tools and technologies. Teaching programming is meaningful to me because it equips students with problem-solving skills that support independence, creativity, and lifelong learning.

Programming lessons are designed to help students understand how logical ideas evolve into structured, working software. I focus on building strong foundations in programming logic, control structures, data handling, object-oriented concepts, and algorithmic thinking. Lessons emphasize understanding how programs execute step by step, helping students visualize the flow of logic rather than memorizing syntax. This approach reduces fear and builds confidence, especially for learners who feel overwhelmed by technical subjects.
Lessons are adapted carefully to match each student’s experience and learning goals. Beginners are guided through basic concepts such as variables, loops, conditions, and simple problem-solving with supportive explanation. Intermediate learners strengthen modular design, debugging strategies, and code readability. Advanced students work on algorithms, efficiency improvement, project structure, and exam or interview preparation. Each lesson includes hands-on coding, reflection, and correction to reinforce learning.
Programming lessons also develop persistence, patience, and analytical discipline. As students gain confidence, they approach problems more methodically and creatively.
