About Sofia

My interest in programming began when I first discovered how software applications are created using coding languages. I was fascinated by the idea that simple instructions written in code could control complex digital systems and perform useful tasks. This curiosity motivated me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and later complete a Master’s in Computer Science.

Over the past 11 years, I have worked with students who want to learn programming for academic study, career preparation, or personal interest. Through teaching experience I learned that beginners often feel confused because programming involves both technical syntax and logical problem solving. Because of this, I focus on explaining the reasoning behind each line of code so students understand how programs function.

My teaching approach encourages experimentation, careful debugging, and consistent practice. I guide learners through coding exercises that gradually increase in complexity so they can build strong programming foundations and confidence in their coding skills.

About the lesson

My programming lessons are designed to help students understand how computer programs are created and how coding can be used to solve practical problems. Instead of focusing only on programming syntax, I guide learners to understand the logical thinking that supports software development. Students learn how algorithms work, how instructions are processed by computers, and how programs are structured to perform different tasks.

Lessons are organized according to the learner’s experience level and learning goals. Beginners start with the fundamentals of programming such as variables, data types, conditional statements, and loops. Intermediate learners practice writing structured programs using functions, arrays, and basic data structures. Advanced students explore algorithm design, debugging techniques, and project-based coding exercises that help strengthen their programming abilities.

Programming becomes exciting when students realize they can create applications, automate tasks, and design useful digital tools. My goal is to help learners develop strong logical reasoning and confidence in writing code so they can approach programming challenges effectively.
