About Miles
My interest in programming began when I discovered that simple lines of code could create powerful digital tools. I became curious about how software systems work and how programmers design solutions using logic. This curiosity led me to pursue higher education and complete a Master's Degree in Computer Science, where I studied programming languages, algorithms, and software development.
During my 7 years of teaching, I have guided many students as they learned the foundations of programming. My teaching style focuses on clear explanation and practical coding exercises. I believe students learn programming best when they actively practice writing and improving code.
Outside teaching, I enjoy experimenting with small software projects and learning about new technologies in the programming world. These activities help me keep my lessons relevant and engaging. Teaching programming is rewarding because I see students develop confidence in using technology to create meaningful solutions.

My computer programming lessons help students understand how logical instructions allow computers to perform tasks. Many beginners feel programming is complicated because they see advanced code before learning the basic principles. In my lessons we begin with simple programming concepts such as variables, conditions, loops, and basic program structure. I explain how these elements work together to create useful programs.
As students gain confidence, lessons introduce functions, structured programming, and problem-solving through code. Learners practice writing small programs that perform tasks such as calculations, data organization, or simple applications. I also teach students how to identify and correct errors in their code so they can improve their debugging skills.
My goal is to help students feel comfortable with programming and understand the logic behind computer software. Lessons focus on building strong foundations so learners can continue exploring programming independently. Over time students begin to create their own programs and gain confidence in their technical abilities.
