About David
I am a Computer Programming tutor with 20 years of teaching experience, helping high school and college students build strong programming skills. Over the years, I have successfully taught around 150 students and guided them through exams, assignments, and practical coding projects.
My teaching philosophy is simple. I believe programming should be clear, logical, and practical. I focus on helping students understand concepts step by step instead of only memorizing code. Once the concept is clear, students practice through coding exercises, real examples, and problem-solving activities.
I teach important programming subjects such as Java, C, and SQL, along with related topics like object-oriented programming, basic data structures, algorithms, and database concepts. My goal is to help students understand how programming works in real situations, not just in textbooks.
Many of my students have improved their academic performance, gained confidence in coding, and successfully completed difficult assignments and projects. I also support learners who want to prepare for future careers in technology by strengthening their logical thinking and programming foundations.
I create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas. My aim is to help every learner develop strong problem-solving skills and become confident in computer programming.

My teaching approach to computer programming is practical, clear, and student-focused. I believe programming is best learned by understanding concepts and practicing them step by step. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas.
I mainly teach Java and also cover related areas such as object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, file handling, debugging techniques, and software development basics. I also guide students in SQL, C programming, database concepts, and basic system design so they gain a broader understanding of programming. Each topic is explained with simple examples and real coding practice.
My tutoring style is flexible because every student learns at a different pace. I adjust my lessons according to the learner’s level, goals, and academic needs. I focus on understanding first, then practice through exercises, assignments, and coding problems.
I always maintain positivity and encourage students when they face difficult problems. Programming can sometimes feel challenging, but with the right guidance, it becomes enjoyable and logical. I support students in exam preparation, project work, and assignments while also helping them develop practical coding skills.
Integrity is very important in my teaching. I guide students to write their own code, think independently, and solve problems with confidence. My goal is to help students become strong programmers who can apply their knowledge in studies, projects, and future careers.
