About Shane
Developing complex algorithms is my standard state of mind. You should know that I hold a PhD in Applied Math from Harvard University. My 9 years of experience include 13 years spent working as a quant within the pharmaceutical industry. I leverage this to teach Python, Java, and JavaScript to beginners and competitive coders.

Starting our first session, I expect to see you stumble on a few syntax errors. Truthfully, I often make the same mistakes when writing rapid prototypes. I provide all students with free access to my private code templates and cheat sheets.
We work through project based learning to solidify your understanding of backend basics. My PhD training ensures that our logic remains sound throughout the process. I aim to keep our interactions grounded in practical logic rather than dry theory.
