About Alisha
Hey!
I'm Alisha, a first year student in Manchester studying Cyber Security hoping to graduate with a first. I studied Maths, Chemistry and Physics at A level as well as computer science in my spare time.
Before that, I completed my GCSEs and achieved 5A's and 5B,s in various subjects.
Growing up I had a few different tutors for different exams so I have been able to take the best ideas from them all and put them into practise myself. I have experience teaching children and enjoy volunteering at my local library too!
I find that tutoring Maths and science has been the most natural for me so it will be what I'm offering on this platform. Of course, if I you have a few questions about your other subjects, I'll be happy to help!

I am a really flexible tutor whether it be online or in person. My methodology is based around the school curriculum /end of year exams as well as challenging students by gauging what they already know and letting them lead me through example questions to improve their confidence and figure out weak points.
I like to encourage students to develop their own revision techniques and I am happy to provide materials / practise papers.
The typical lesson length I deliver is between 1-2 hours. I have experience in working with primary school and GCSE students of all abilities.
