About Siddhanth

I have been in the IT industry for 5 years and have had to fulfill many roles during my career, some of which are Software Developer, Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Business Intelligence Developer, Data Scientist and Cloud engineer.

I have also worked in many different environments, from freelancing to small startups to established conglomerates and even one of the largest companies in the world.

I have had to work at many levels, from junior all the way up to acting team leader , and worked with teams consisting of as few as 2 people to as many as 30. As such, I have significant experience in mentoring and tutoring students and junior professionals, being able to nurture their skills and help them succeed.

The above experiences have allowed me to understand the transition from a school computer science syllabus , through to a university level syllabus and how they integrate into real world scenarios, seeing practical application of theoretical concepts that in turn aid many people.

This allows me to create a framework for my students to be able to learn concepts not taught in conventional courses that one can only learn through years of experience.

It also allows me to provide scope on a multitude of possible career paths, their pros and cons, and daily work life, which can provide insight into possible career paths that would not have normally been considered.

About the lesson

I try to keep my lessons as interactive as possible, whereby instead of having a strict syllabus, I prefer to find out from my students about their passion and provide guidance and roadmaps to ensure that they can be successful. This is so that I have an idea of what you would like to achieve from our lessons.

I also encourage students to bring topics that they have difficulty understanding, be it basics of programming at a school or university level, to wanting guidance and tutorship on succeeding in a role at work. This allows me to tailor roadmaps and courses to each student individually, using both resources and experience to ensure that they are successful in their endeavors.

My lessons are taught in English.

Firstly, I would like to find out the areas you would like to be mentored on , either beforehand or during the lesson. We can then have a discussion to find out how proficient you currently are and how in depth you would like to learn. For example, if you are a university student struggling with OOP concepts and practical application of such , or if you would simply like to learn Python or MYSQL from scratch.

Once the preliminary requirements are completed, a typical lesson with me would be to go through content with you and to explain concepts in an easily digestible manner, as well as provide practical exposure to concepts if applicable. I will also prepare / source resources that can be used for revision.

My lessons are targeted primarily and school to university level students , however I also cater for students who are just starting out in the corporate environment and need assistance understanding tooling or career guidance.
