About Chhupten Dong

Hi students, I am Chhupten Dong Tamang but you call me Chhup. I currently hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, currently pursuing Masters in Artificial Intelligence in UTS.
I always hated how teachers used to teach materials in such a boring way because when I teach or explain things, people (from all ages) are always interested and engaged as I can explain complex things in a simple way.
Furthermore, being a postgraduate student myself, I know how a student thinks. So, I can deliver courses is such a way that it is easily understandable. So sit back, relax and don't worry if you find any concepts or courses difficult because I am here to deliver that "difficult" concept/course in an easy way that you can easily understand.

As a tutor, I can break down complex ideas into simple digestible chunks. Also, I can think in different perspectives like how a student thinks and in what ways can I design the materials so that they understand and comprehend the topic as well as how to make the topic look fun and exciting.

Also, I consider being able know the student's strength and weakness and explain them the topic accordingly to be the most important thing. People have different strengths, weakness and thinking capabilities. Tutors should be able to understand that and make sure that the way they are teaching should not be neither too overwhelming nor too boring/easy for the student but should be at the right level where it’s just stimulating and fun enough to keep them engaged and interested. When they are interested and find it fun, learning comes ultimately.

Currently being a master student and a former undergraduate student, I can easily comprehend how much can an average student absorb the material.

So , If its like a theory/lecture session then my lesson duration would of 1-2 hour. If it is a tutorial session then I teach the content in dept so it will be 2-3 hours. But if its a workshop session then my session would consist of 3-4 hours as it is an engaging session. I can also increase and decrease the duration if the situation demands like how much materials should be finished on a given time frame, or how difficult the course is, etc. Also I can teach "hybrid classes" which consist of both lecture/tutorial and practical/workshop session if it seems the best for the student.
In a nutshell, I can adapt my teaching method based on the student's preference and learning capacity.

I would prefer to teach core programming concepts like Object Oriented Design and Programming so it would be an undergraduate level lesson. So the students age would be 18+. But if I have to teach maths then it would be grade 10 maths so the students would be comparatively younger around 16 years of age.

Please understand that its $25 per hour because I would love to invest my time and effort on my student, planning every step to help them understand the material. I prefer quality over quantity. Also, the 'tutoring cost per hour' rate is not a 'per hour' rate because I have to prepare for the materials for the student too.
