About Lathika
Hi, I’m Lathika. I’m a computer science graduate and software engineer with a strong interest in teaching and mentoring. I believe good learning comes from clarity, patience, and practical understanding rather than memorization. My background in coding and real-world software projects helps me explain concepts in a logical and relatable way. I approach teaching with professionalism, consistency, and respect for every student’s learning pace. Outside academics, I’m also a sports player, which has taught me discipline, teamwork, and focus—qualities I bring into my teaching as well. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and steadily improving their skills.

My teaching approach is concept-focused and structured. I start by understanding the student’s current level and learning goals, then explain topics using simple language, real-life examples, and step-by-step methods. Each class usually begins with a quick recap, followed by explanation of new concepts, guided problem-solving, and practice questions. I encourage students to ask questions freely and focus on building strong fundamentals rather than rote learning. My classes are intended for primary and secondary school students, beginners in programming, and college students who want clarity in maths, physics, or computer science basics.
