About Deema

Hi, my name is Deema I'm currently completing the first year of my Computer Science Bachelor's degree at Concordia University. I've always been a grade A student when it came to math and truly enjoyed teaching others, which is why I was asked to tutor my neighbors’ kids throughout their elementary and high school years. I also got the opportunity to work with many other wonderful students (both in elementary and high school) who were having trouble with math throughout the years, all of whom surpassed their own expectations by the end of our time together. I was then offered a TA position during my first year of college, due to my strong grasp and understanding of Java, and have been helping classmates and freshmen ever since. I'd love to help you reach your full potential too!

About the lesson

Math: Math is a hands-on subject and the best way to learn it is by, first, understanding what you need to do, and second, by doing exercises. A lot of them. We'll work out your strengths and weaknesses to ensure you get the most out of our sessions! During every meeting, we'll do a check-up on your progress and your struggle understanding the material at hand. My goal is to make sure you have a good grasp of the subject to ace that upcoming test! I always aim to make the material as relevant to you as possible by tying it to real-life situations, allowing you to look at the questions from a different perspective. ** These lessons are for elementary students (Grade 1-6) and high school students (Grade 7-11)
