I am a recent graduate from UC Berkeley and will be continuing my studies at Cornell this fall. With a strong academic background and a passion for teaching, I am dedicated to helping students achieve their goals in math and science. - I believe that a full understanding and solid foundation of the material is the key to success in math and science. To ensure this, I focus on explaining the underlying concepts and key points behind each problem. This approach helps students understand how to tackle similar problems in the future. I also provide students with practice problems to reinforce their understanding and ensure they have a firm grasp of the material.
- I have taken college-level courses in probability, discrete math, and linear algebra, giving me a strong understanding of mathematical concepts.
- Scored 800 on the SAT math section and earned 5s on AP Calculus, Statistics, and Computer Science exams.
- I am comfortable teaching all grade levels (from preschool to high school) and all math topics, including trigonometry, geometry, calculus, and statistics. Additionally, I can teach coding in Python, Java, and C.
