About Daniel

As a Computer Science major with advanced coursework in Calculus and Physics, I bring both a strong academic foundation and real-world teaching experience to my tutoring. I’ve created step-by-step training systems in technical roles, which taught me how to break down complex processes into simple, understandable parts—an approach I now apply to math and physics.

I don’t just teach students how to solve problems—I help them understand the why behind the math. By showing where formulas come from and why they work, I make learning intuitive and meaningful. This deeper insight helps students connect concepts, retain knowledge longer, and approach new material with confidence.

Students can expect me to be patient, reliable, and encouraging. My sessions are structured yet flexible, always tailored to each student’s goals and pace. I provide clear explanations, consistent feedback, and practical study strategies that build both understanding and independence. Every session is designed to leave students with a new insight and a fresh perspective on the topic they are working on—helping them see the material in a way that truly makes sense. Above all, I want students to feel confident—not just in solving today’s problems, but in knowing they can approach future challenges with the tools and mindset to succeed.

I don’t just help students memorize formulas—I show them where those formulas come from and how they connect to the bigger picture of mathematics and physics. By using visualizations, step-by-step reasoning, and intuitive examples, I make abstract concepts easier to understand and remember. I also teach students how to study effectively, so they save time and actually retain what they learn.

A Typical Lesson

Quick check-in: Identify the student’s goals, recent struggles, or upcoming tests.

Concept breakdown: Use visuals to reveal the “why” behind formulas and rules.

Guided practice: Work through problems together, gradually reducing support as the student gains confidence.

Independent application: The student solves similar problems on their own, with feedback.

Recap & study tips: Summarize key takeaways, provide a short practice set or formula sheet, and share techniques for reviewing efficiently.

What Sets Me Apart

I focus on long-term understanding instead of quick fixes, so students save time in the future and don’t have to keep re-learning old material.

I create custom visuals and analogies that connect new ideas to what students already know, making learning more intuitive and memorable.

I also integrate study strategies and retention techniques, so students can become more independent learners.

Who My Lessons Are For

High school students taking Algebra, Precalculus, Calculus, or Physics.

College students in Calculus I–II or introductory Physics (mechanics & E&M).

Learners who want not just better grades, but a deeper understanding of math and physics.
