About Sean
My main personal interest has been mountaineering lately, but I studied computer science for many years. In that time, my interests ranged from programming languages to operating systems to cognitive science, culminating in a PhD in bioinformatics. Throughout, I enjoyed teaching and finding ways to share my knowledge and enthusiasm for the material.

I mainly work with students online via video chat, but can also work in person via special arrangement. I tutor undergraduates and some motivated high school students, working with a curriculum created by their professor or teacher. Starting from specific problems, I lead the student toward more general strategies and lessons.
