About Carlota
I am a PhD graduate from King's College London. I have taught over 100 hours of classes at the university, online, in-person and in a hybrid mode. I have also taught workshops in multiple conferences to crowds of over 50 people. I am from Spain and understand the struggle of living away from your family and making it in a new country. I am also a scholarship student and have been financially independent through hard work and multiple schemes and jobs.

My strategy to teach you how to succeed in your Computer Science PhD is to pass to you all my experience and knowledge I learnt during my PhD. This information was collected through workshops, experiences, my own personal pains and from helping other people during their PhD research. So, topics we might cover: How to deal with imposter syndrome. How to decrease burnout. How to organise your PhD research and meet all your deadlines. How to write a paper or thesis. How to find your PhD research topic. How to find funding to travel or complete research projects.
