About Kaustubh
I am a Computer Science student at the University of Washington and an active AI researcher, bringing both academic knowledge and real-world experience to my tutoring. With over three years of tutoring advanced math and science and 250 hours of working with students, I know how to explain concepts step by step and adapt to different learning styles. My leadership roles in school clubs, along with the discipline I've gained from athletics, have strengthened my ability to guide, encourage, and communicate clearly. I am patient, approachable, and dedicated to helping every student gain confidence and succeed.

Teaching Methods: I explain ideas step by step, so that students can see how different parts of the process lead to each other. Then using real-life examples, and practice problems I help make sure that the student understands. If something feels confusing I re-explain until it's clear. Typical Lesson Plan: I start off with reviewing the content that the student is confident in, with a couple of warm-up questions. Then as the lesson progresses, we delve into new topics, initially using simple examples and building up to a point where multiple concepts are used. Finally, we finish with an interesting summary. Now realizing that certain concepts can be difficult, I believe that patience is the most important thing as a tutor. Further, as a visual learner myself, I put an emphasis on real-world application. Furthermore, I don't criticize mistakes, and rather treat them as stepping stones. Finally, I really enjoy tutoring, and love to help others. Who the lessons are for: I tutor math, statistics, calculus, science, and chemistry for elementary, middle, and high-school students. I can help with homework, test prep, and building a strong foundation in these subjects :)
