About Mark
I'm a Second Year Computing Science Student at Glasgow University with a strong background of Maths and Computer Science.
I've got 6 A's at Higher Level in Maths, Computing Science, English, Physics, Business and History.
As well as an A in Adv. Higher Maths and a B for Computing Science.
I've got tutoring experience through being a class assistant to younger year groups whilst in 6th year, gaining a lot of valuable skills of working one on one with pupils and helping develop their understanding of various topics. As well as this I partook in working on literacy skills with first year students alongside helping them with their homework tasks, so I am very experienced and happy to work with a wide variety of age groups.
I am happy to prepare lessons for any year group, specific topics, or sessions of practice questions and solutions for upcoming tests or exams.

My lessons are pre-planned and prepared to fit the pupils needs and make sure the session is productive and helpful for them. I'm more than happy to message prior to our session to arrange what topics you want to focus on to get the most out of our time.
Lessons will cover all of the course specification alongside practice exam style questions modelled off of past papers to best prepare each student for their tests and exam.
As a current student myself, I can provide more recent and relatable exam advice given my familiarity with the students situation and pass on any tips and tricks I used to learn and retain material.
Through our sessions I want to create a safe space to learn without worrying about getting stuck or answering wrongly, the lessons are for every stage of learning and we will work together to meet whatever goals and targets you have for your learning.
