About Harsha
I'm a motivated high school graduate from Royal St. George’s College (RSGC), where I was awarded a full academic scholarship and consistently recognized for academic excellence. With a strong foundation in math—scoring 98% in Advanced Functions and 99% in Calculus and Vectors—I’ve developed a deep understanding of how to break down complex concepts into clear, understandable lessons. I’ve tutored students from Grades 1 through 12, including both peers and younger students, tailoring my approach to meet individual learning styles. Whether I’m guiding a Grade 6 student through math using creative games and storytelling, or helping a Grade 11 student prepare for Advanced Functions exams with targeted practice materials, I ensure each session is clear, supportive, and engaging. My approachable teaching style and firsthand experience being tutored myself allow me to create a learning space where students feel comfortable, confident, and heard.

I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple steps, using analogies, visuals, or real-life applications where helpful. I ask guiding questions so students stay active in their learning rather than just passively receiving answers.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review or check-in, followed by tackling a specific topic or assignment the student is working on. I adjust my approach based on how the student responds—whether they need more examples, slower pacing, or independent practice. At the end of each session, I assign a small amount of targeted homework to reinforce the material and build confidence gradually.
I’ve been tutored before, so I understand how important it is to feel supported and heard. I know that everyone learns differently, and I take the time to understand each student’s learning style so I can teach in a way that makes sense to them. No matter how many questions you have or how unsure you feel, I always stay approachable and patient. My goal is to create a space where you’re never afraid to ask for help.
I tutor Grades 1–12 math, including everything from foundational skills to more advanced topics like algebra, geometry, and calculus. My lessons are ideal for students who need one-on-one attention to build confidence, close learning gaps, or get ahead in class.
