About Khanh

I’m a first-year university student at the University of New Brunswick, and I’m passionate about helping others succeed in math! I pride myself on being friendly, approachable, and always ready to help students feel comfortable while learning. My goal is to provide clear, step-by-step lessons that help students gradually improve with each session. I don’t just solve problems—I’m here to guide students through the concepts, making sure they fully understand the material before moving on. I’m committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel confident in asking questions and growing at their own pace.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on guiding students step-by-step through problems, ensuring that they understand each part of the process. I believe that a solid understanding of the concepts is key to mastering any mathematical subject. I incorporate active learning into every lesson, encouraging students to ask questions, explain what they've learned, and actively engage with the material. This not only reinforces their understanding but also helps them develop confidence in their abilities. By allowing students to articulate their thoughts and reasoning, they gain a deeper, more meaningful understanding of the subject matter.

As a first-year university student with a perfect GPA of 4.3/4.3, I have a strong grasp of the mathematical concepts I teach. I’m confident in my ability to explain difficult topics in a clear and approachable way. My approach is centered on helping students understand the logic behind each step of a problem and not just memorizing formulas. I believe that the best way to learn math is through active engagement, and I encourage students to ask questions, discuss their thought process, and fully understand the "why" behind the solutions.

I offer lessons for a wide range of students, including:

- Primary and Middle School Students: Helping with basic math skills, foundational concepts, and building confidence.
- High School Students: Supporting subjects like pre-calculus, calculus, and other high school-level math.
- First-Year University Students: Assisting with more advanced topics like linear algebra, calculus, and other introductory university-level math. My lessons are designed to help students at all levels improve their understanding, develop problem-solving skills, and feel more confident in their math abilities.
