About Dan
During college in and outside of class I've used math to solve various problems in engineering and computer science.
I have a lot of experience working on math and engineering in collaborative settings where I have to clearly explain my thinking.
I've worked with some of my peers who really dislike math, but when in the context of real world examples which we often find in engineering, people light up. I want to bring this effect to you.

When studying math it is important to recognize that it doesn't exist in a vacuum; math is cumulative and can be approached from a variety of angles.
Understanding the different approaches you can take into various topics and the many real world applications helps to solidify practical understanding.
When learning a new subject, I start by understanding how it fits on top of what I already know. I make sure to consider if there are any other ways to approach it and if it can be easily understood through real world examples.
