I start each lesson with an overview of the topic at hand. I focus on a high-level conceptual understanding of the material, reinforced with frequent practice, which is essential for a long term memory of the material. My experience is that this method builds the confidence of students in the material.
I am a Computer Science student at Rice University. I have a passion for teaching, and I enjoy sharing knowledge with others. I have been tutoring for 3 years. I started as a group instructor and eventually moved to private tutoring.
