About Marcela
I’m Marcela dos Santos, a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC) and an experienced lecturer with over 14 years of teaching programming in universities and colleges in Brazil and Canada. I specialize in Python programming and Data Analysis, helping beginners, researchers, and professionals develop practical skills through a hands-on, step-by-step approach. My methodology focuses on real-world projects, personalized lessons, and individual support to make learning simple, effective, and engaging. Passionate about education and technology, my goal is to empower my students to gain confidence, improve their skills, and achieve their personal and professional goals.

The pace is adapted to the student, mistakes are treated as an essential part of the learning process, and the focus is on understanding why the code works—or why it doesn’t. The final goal is not only to pass the course, but to leave it knowing how to program.
