About Marin

I hold an MSc in Computer Science and have spent nearly a decade teaching learners across levels—from beginners writing their first lines of code to advanced students tackling algorithm design. My passion lies in transforming complexity into clarity. I see computer science as a living language that expresses logic, creativity, and innovation.

My lessons blend structured learning with exploration, guiding students to think algorithmically while staying curious about technology’s human side. I believe in empowering students to build, not just learn—to create something they can proudly call their own. In my classes, mistakes are stepping stones.

I foster a safe, encouraging environment where every bug becomes an opportunity to understand more deeply. Each learner is guided towards independence—able to analyse, optimise, and innovate confidently. Outside teaching, I stay immersed in emerging tech like machine learning and software design ethics. My goal is to help students see computer science as a tool for solving real-world challenges—where logic meets imagination and innovation meets purpose.

About the lesson

My Computer Science lessons focus on turning abstract logic into practical skill. We start with foundational concepts like algorithms, programming principles, and object-oriented design before advancing to AI, web technologies, and data systems. Each lesson is structured to build understanding through reasoning, visualisation, and small coding challenges that promote deep learning.

Students engage in live problem-solving sessions, debugging exercises, and algorithmic thinking drills. I emphasise not just the how of programming, but the why—why a particular approach works best, why certain structures improve efficiency, and why elegant code matters.This develops computational fluency rather than mechanical memorisation. Lessons often include real-world case studies—like recommendation systems, data analysis, or automation examples—that connect coding logic to everyday technology.

I encourage experimentation, where learners modify code and predict outcomes, strengthening creative confidence. Interactive visualisation tools and pseudocode help clarify complex structures like recursion or sorting algorithms. The focus is on nurturing problem-solvers who think critically and design innovatively.
