Hi there!! I'm Ronin.
If you’re staring at a programming assignment or a blank IDE wondering why your code isn't working, don't sweat it, I’ve got your back!
I’m a Computer Science student with around 10 years of hands-on programming experience, and I wrapped up my university Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) course with a 99% and got a 5 in AP Computer Science principles back in high school. I absolutely love this stuff, but I also know firsthand that university lectures can sometimes feel like they're speaking a totally different language. That’s where I come in! I bridge the gap between dry textbook theory and actual, real-world coding so you can ace your classes and build amazing projects.

Java Programming: From absolute basics to object-oriented programming (OOP), memory management, and clean code architecture.

My Approach & Teaching Style
I am super outgoing, friendly, and patient. My goal is to make our sessions the least stressful hour of your week!
Visual & Analogy-First: Computer science is super abstract, so we’ll step away from the code editor at first. We’ll use virtual whiteboards to sketch out how data moves through memory or how algorithms think using real-world analogies.
Learning How to Think: I won't just hand you the answer or type the code for you. We’ll team up to debug the problem together so you build the confidence to solve tough logic puzzles on your own.
Grading-System Ready: We don't just write code that "works." I’ll teach you how to write optimized, efficient code that will effortlessly pass automated university grading systems like ZyBooks or Gradescope.
What a Typical Lesson Looks Like
First 5-10 Mins: We do a quick check-in, triage your immediate assignment bugs or exam worries, and set a game plan for the hour.
Next 15-20 Mins: We break down the core concept using visuals and sketches until it totally clicks.
Next 30 Mins: We jump into a shared code editor! You take the driver's seat, and I’ll guide you through implementing the logic, catching edge cases, and teaching you professional debugging tricks.
Last 5 Mins: Quick recap of the core patterns we learned so you know exactly what to tackle next on your own.
