About Selim
Hey prospective learner! I'm Selim, a 2nd year Computer Science university student who has enough free time and unshared knowledge to go around.
The number one thing you need to know about me is that I'm passionate about programming. My love for the craft has taken me thousands of miles away from the country I call home in order to broaden my skillset and learn more about the craft.
On top of that, I'm passionate about inspiring others to become better programmers and computer scientists -- I'm intimately familiar with the journey that beginners take because I started at quite a young age -- I know all about the common obstacles faced by novices since I had to surmount them myself. I also have enough experience to know how to get around the not-so-novice problems.

I started learning programming in middle school and have progressed to more advanced styles of teaching over the years. I know exactly how people typically understand programming and what concepts they struggle with, and the way I tailor my lesson plans reflects that.
I also understand that everyone learns differently, so I make it a priority to understand how each individual student absorbs knowledge and make adjustments accordingly.
Regardless of your level of education, my lessons are for you. I have experience with Python, Java, C++, C, C#, Haskell and some JavaScript. I have worked with object oriented and functional paradigms alike, and I can even learn topics I'm unfamiliar with quickly in order to help you.
