About Catherine
I am currently pursuing a Bachelors in computer science at Vanderbilt University. I have been playing cello since 6th grade and have experience with concerts, solos, and chamber music. I’m a 2020 graduate from Plano West Senior High, the 2019 TMEA Honor Orchestra.

I offer private lessons to beginner and intermediate players who are beginning to develop the technique for more advanced pieces. I assign technical practices to help the student develop a strong foundation. Challenging performance pieces or concertos can be assigned or student picked to keep student interest and motivation and to provide a checkpoint in student progress while developing performance skills.
