About Aarrush
Music found me before I was looking for it. I picked up a guitar just to mess around, and now it's the thing I can't put down — writing riffs, learning covers, figuring out why a song makes you feel a certain way. Somewhere along the way, strangers started watching too: my covers have crossed 118,000 likes online, and a few have pulled in over 100,000 views on their own. That's not why I play, but it's proof the work translates.
I'm the kind of musician who wants to understand the mechanics, not just memorize the shapes. Give me a song and I'll pick it apart until I know what makes it tick — then I can explain it back in a way that actually makes sense, instead of just saying "trust me, practice more." That habit of breaking things down comes from teaching outside of music too, where I've spent real time helping people learn skills step by step. I'm a lead guitarist and vocalist with genuine range and real-world performance experience — not just practice-room chords. My playing spans reggae, hip-hop, and alternative rock, with covers of artists like Rebelution, Ken Carson, 311, and The Smiths, and my videos have earned over 118,000 likes with several individual covers surpassing 100,000 views. I've also performed live at venues, bringing stage presence and comfort under pressure that most instructors only teach in theory.
That range is exactly why I'm a strong teacher: I don't just know one style or one way of playing. I can help a student build technical fundamentals, develop their ear across genres, sing while playing, and eventually perform in front of people, not just in a bedroom. My teaching approach also draws on a technical, engineering-minded background, so I explain the "why" behind music theory and technique in a way that makes logical sense rather than just "trust me and practice."
