About Monet
I have been playing the harp for 20 years and have loved every moment of it. I graduated college with a Bachelors Degree in Harp Performance at Brigham Young University. I perform all over the country for orchestral performances, competitions and conferences. I became certified to teach in the summer of 2024 and have since taken more pedagogy classes to refine my skills as a teacher. I have experience in various forms of musical subjects, including theory, technique, repertoire, competitions, gigging, ensemble playing & accompanying, college auditions, orchestral auditions, and more. I love music more than anything and want to share it everywhere!

I have had a deep love and passion for the harp since I was 3 years old and want to continue on the legacy of this instrument. I am certified in the first book of the Suzuki Method, thus my methods and techniques will stem mostly from there. However, I aim to teach students based on what they hope to accomplish and will tailor my lessons to the student and their unique abilities. Lessons are for all levels of playing, beginning to advanced - I will meet the student wherever they’re at.

Perfect! Monet is very sweet! I really do appreciate how affordable her lessons are :) music is all about accessibility and I’m glad that Monet is making harp lessons very affordable for me! She’s definitely very encouraging too, which is super important for beginners. I would recommend taking lessons with Monet!
