About Mikala
I am a piano and clarinet major at the University of Georgia.
I teach both instruments and also voice.
My students in the vocal and piano range consist of beginner and intermediate students. I have helped students get into honor choirs and good marks in piano competitions.

I teach in a similar way that I was taught through instruction out of various methodology books consisting of lesson books and theory books. I believe it is important to instruct music theory while teaching any musical instrument as it enhances the students understanding of what they are playing and allows them to play in a more expressive and correct way.
