About Danielle
I’ve been playing classical piano for over 15 years and studied music at Fairfield University, where I earned college credits in piano performance. My teaching is grounded in strong fundamentals—technique, music theory, and expression—while keeping lessons engaging and approachable.
With experience in education, particularly working with teens and adults, I prioritize clear communication, patience, and adaptability. I aim to create a structured yet supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning, asking questions, and growing over time.
As a queer instructor, I’m especially passionate about working with teens and adults from diverse backgrounds and fostering a welcoming, inclusive space for all students.

I'm happy to work with beginners and intermediate learners, particularly adults and teens. My teaching style meets students where they're at with the understanding that many of us have stage fright or anxiety surrounding performing. I want to make piano as accessible and beginner-friendly as possible through fun exercises and eventually longer-form pieces.
