About Lauri
I graduated from USC in 1996 under the instruction of Daniel Pollack. I have been a member of the Music Teachers' Association of California for 10 years. I have worked as an independent contractor for several years. My mission is to provide curiosity and inspiration for piano students. I believe this can be achieved by learning music that is diverse and touches the individual. I am able to provide recitals, competitions, or just relaxation with the joy of sound.

My teaching method is found in the Faber and Faber piano books. I teach technique from the Russian tradition I learned under Daniel Pollack. A typical lesson plan would be the lesson, technique, performance, and theory assignments. What sets me apart is 32 years of teaching ages 4 - 81 y/o. I have taught all levels of piano and all styles of piano music.
