About Angela
I'm a professional musician, with a Bachelor's degree at the Curtis Institute of Music and a Master degree from New England Conservatory. I've been playing for 23 years and teaching for 9. I have a huge passion for sharing my love for music with students!! I was a prize winner of the Issac Stern, Singapore International, Louis Spohr, Michael Hill, Nomea, and Harbin International competition. I am also the founder and violinist of the AYA Piano Trio. The trio was awarded first prize in WDAV and Yellowspring chamber music competition and currently represented by Jean Schreiber Management.

I strongly believe playing an instrument should be a joyful experience and one that will be a positive change in one's life :) My goal is to help my students to reach their musical potential and aspirations while having a wonderful time!
Lessons are customized and catered to the needs/goals of each student! My general approach would be engaging with students with questions for their own growth and initiative, hopefully inspiring them to be continuously curious, about playing the violin and living life :)
Because of my 23 years of playing, I believe I can help establish a solid technical foundation for students, and provide musical standards and ideas of good taste.
