About Malek
I'm Malek, a Bachelor of Commerce student at Concordia University's John Molson School of Business, majoring in Finance. I completed my IB Diploma at the American Community School of Beirut, where I also received the Science, Physics, and Chemistry Award. I grew up bilingual in English and Arabic, and I'm comfortable explaining concepts in either.
I care about being reliable: showing up prepared, replying promptly, and adjusting my approach if something isn't working for you. I'm patient, organized, and used to explaining things clearly, whether to classmates, in group projects, or as president of my school's Business & Finance Club.

I struggled in IB Math myself, going from a C to an A once I fixed the gaps in my foundation rather than just pushing forward. That experience shapes how I teach: in our first lesson, we find exactly where your understanding breaks down, then rebuild from there instead of racing through the syllabus.
I'm a finance student at Concordia's John Molson School of Business, where I earned an A+ in university-level math while the class average was a C. I cover algebra, pre-calculus, IB Math AA, and introductory calculus, with an emphasis on connecting math to real applications like finance and economics.
