About Yue
As a cello teacher, I have worked with students from all stages, I found each of them has their unique character, personality and way of learning; some like to ask questions, some like to see demonstrations and some might want to do things totally different than I was teaching, but I have fun working with each of them and being able to bring progress and joy of music to them. It will be a pleasure to work with you!

My cello teaching system is called "Purpose direct cello system" it focuses on clear instruction to bring out purpose for each technique I am teaching. A lesson normally takes an hour, with warm-up stretches, finger exercises, open strings, scale, arpeggio and studies of music pieces. As a teacher, I don't believe in fast track learning, I believe it will take time for each student to find their own pace to be comfortable with their instrument and develop the muscle memory for intonation, so first few months, the progress might seem slow, but once the student has mastered all the basics, the progress will be rapid. I would love to work with students from all stages, beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
