About Ross

With over 6 years of tutoring experience, I am a passionate French tutor teaching high school and college students. I have successfully taught 150–200 students and helped them improve their language skills, academic results, and confidence in French.

My teaching philosophy is based on clarity, patience, and confidence building. I believe learning a language should be enjoyable and easy to understand. I explain grammar concepts clearly and help students practise through writing and speaking activities.

I create personalised lesson plans according to each student’s level and goals. I support students with exams, coursework, and general language improvement. I also give regular feedback to help students track their progress.

A notable achievement of my teaching career is helping students become confident French learners. Many students have improved their grades and communication skills. My goal is to provide a positive and motivating learning environment where students can succeed.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching French combines real-world learning with personalised support. I use everyday examples and case studies such as ordering food, writing emails, attending interviews, and social conversations to make lessons meaningful.

I remain flexible in my teaching style and adjust lesson plans according to the student’s progress and learning goals. Collaboration is encouraged through interactive speaking tasks, role-plays, and guided exercises that help students practise French actively. Compassion guides my teaching, and I provide encouragement and clear feedback at every stage.

Along with French, I also teach grammar basics, vocabulary development, pronunciation improvement, reading comprehension, writing practice, conversational French, cultural studies, and exam preparation.
